Easter and Migraine

Well its Easter time, with all the feasting on the Easter foods and the Easter eggs. This also is a day which reminds me of my great friend Myron,my room mate at MGM.Well this of surely one of the days when he used to visit the church.During first year our great friend had gone for a nice Easter Lunch with a certain Anitha Varghese, who was a good friend to both of us.Well he dumped me and ashish for that lunch if my memory is correct.Anyways there were lots of great times with Myron and there will be in the future too.
In first year even i was a regular in going to the church with him as it was a nice and peace giving place, with all the tensions about studies and homesickness in our lives at that time.
On most instances on Christmas Myron was always away home in Mumbai celebrating, but Easter was very in Aurangabad with friends.
Not that we had great bashes well mostly it used to be maybe at Ameets house(our very close friend) or just a nice Dinner in some of the joints we loved.
I also rememeber this one instance when he got us wine and Ashish developed quite a liking for it.
Well Myron is and always will be one of the most fun loving friends i had.
He had everything in him to get the spirit back ,when we were down with his antics
Now he is in the UK,celebrating this very day with his Dad,I am sure that would be really special
Myron will be missed and looking to meet him very soon.
On Easter wishing him and everyone a happy time

India's cup

Well it has almost been 19 days since india won that coveted world cup.Now all the IPL hoopla is around, yes it has a buzz, but not quite the same. When MSD hit that ball for a six something had happened, something which was truly special,as they say a moment of a lifetime. There were tears in the players eyes, rest assured they were not alone. That one man Sachin Tendulkar,a true servant of indian cricket since i have started watching cricket, had become from marvellous to gigantic.
Well it was special,as my very dear friend from  the UK ,not much of a cricket follower, but he said I am after all an Indian. In his voice the patriotism was so palpable. That moment of happiness sent shivers down my spine.
It was one of the proudest moments in World Sport, and for India it was the jewel in the crown.
The picture that will stay with me forever is the very modest Sachin Tendulkar holding aloft the cup that matters,in the background of  The Gateway of India. In his eyes one could see happiness and satisfaction with peace
